SPRING
I bring you the violets on the green
and the dew on the daffodils seldom seen
before the snow drifts melt and the breeze is felt
like a kiss on the hand of the morning

I bring you the petals pink with the dawn
and the darling dapples on the newborn faun
as the young grass grows right between your toes
as you follow the call of the starling

REFRAIN 1 (all singers)
Seasons, reasons, days pass by
turning, learning, all our lives

SUMMER
I bring you an apricot, soaked in sun
and the lily and lavendar just begun
magnificent with their sultry scent
carried high on the winds in the mountains

I bring you roses red from the fields
where the golden grains give forth their yield
and the rains fill up every tulip cup
'till it spills like a sweet silver fountain

REFRAIN 2 (all singers)
Round and round the seasons turn
we learn to love and live to learn

merrily (autumn) ---------------- verily (winter)
merrily (autumn) ---------------- verily (winter)
merrily (autumn), verily (winter)
merrily (autumn), verily (winter)

AUTUMN
I bring you the glory of a crimson crown
on the tops of the trees, and a golden gown
for the birches white, reaching in the night
embracing the moon in their branches.

I bring you a fire lit in the hearth
to warm your hands and heal your heart
as the embers glow, we remember so
many moments of choices and chances

REFRAIN 1 (all singers)
Seasons, reasons, days pass by
turning, learning, all our lives

WINTER
I bring you the icicles on the eaves
and the whistling wind scattering the leaves
and the blue night glows with the shimmering snow
as the years' darkest night falls around us.

I bring you the counting of the year's deeds done
with a horn of cider, sharp upon the tongue.
and we'll raise a glass to the seasons passed
and the blessings and friends that surround us

REFRAIN COMBINED (all singers)
Seasons, reasons, days pass by
turning, learning, all our lives
Round and round the seasons turn
we learn to love and live to learn
